CCP Salon 2104 Call for entries
Australia’s largest open-entry, photomedia exhibition and competition CCP Salon is back for its 22nd year!CCP Salon entries are now open and will remain open until 6pm Friday 24 October 2014.This year’s CCP Salon is presented by Leica and Ilford and supported by 25 national leaders in the photographic industry. CCP Salon provides an excellent opportunity to exhibit work in a professional, high-profile context. In past years digital, analogue, moving imagery and 3D works have lined the walls of CCP, this year we are very excited to present the latest national developments in photomedia through showcasing a diverse snapshot of contemporary Australian practice.

Industry professionals will judge all entrants’ work and $20,143.00 worth of prizes will be awarded across 28 categories. We are delighted to announce our 2014 judges, Bindi Cole, Artist; Adam Harding, Director Horsham Regional Art Gallery; Karra Rees, CCP Managing Curator; Naomi Cass, CCP Director, Non-voting Chair. CCP Salon gallery visitors will also have the opportunity to vote in the Crumpler People’s Choice Award for their favourite work.

CCP Salon is an excellent opportunity for emerging and established photomedia artists to exhibit work. For all the early-bird CCP Salon entrants, the first entrant will to be awarded a $250 Ilford printing voucher. We are looking forward to receiving your Salon entries.

NATIONAL CALL FOR ENTRIES
CCP DOCUMENTARY
PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD

Documentary photographers, photojournalists and artists working in a documentary style are invited to submit their work for a chance to win the $4,000 Copyright Agency Limited Prize.

The eighth, biennial CCP Documentary Photography Award presents a survey of the best contemporary Australian documentary photography in series format. The Award is open to established and aspiring photographers using either analogue or digital cameras, however the content of the images must not be altered.

Approximately ten finalists will be selected for exhibition at Centre for Contemporary Photography from 28 October to 11 December 2011, and subsequent national tour until 2013. The winner of the $4,000 Copyright Agency Limited Prize will be announced at the opening of the exhibition at CCP on Thursday 27 October 2011.

The judges in 2011 are Dr Isobel Crombie, Senior Curator, Photography, National Gallery of Victoria;
Bill Henson
, Artist; and Naomi Cass, Director, CCP.
